Full Spectrum is a studio designed and installed by the staff of  Sound Element Studios. Located in the Hampton Teen Center in Hampton, VA, this innovative space was envisioned as an all-encompassing production facility . Not only would it offer industry quality sound at an affordable price for young people, but Full Spectrum would be a learning center and musical network for the youth of Hampton.

Now open for business in the fall of 2009, Full Spectrum is just that; a facility designed to offer a unique audio experience while immersing young people in the world of contemporary music.


 

Hours of Operation

Wednesday- Thursday 6-10pm

Friday 7-11 pm

Saturday 7-11 pm (By appointment only)

Teen Rates (includes mixing and mastering outside of open sessions):

Spring 2011:

The recording studio will be offering specific workshops and programs to provide the best music industry training we can offer. Starting tomorrow we will begin “Recording Studio Boot Camp”. This gives the youth a chance to learn how to use the industry standard recording equipment we have at the teen center and create quality products on their own. We will break this up into 1 hour session blocks, Wednesday from 6-8, Thursday from 7-8, and Friday from 8-9. You can the time that works best.
We will keep the “Open Session” available from 8-10 on Wednesday and Thursday, and 7-11 on Friday. Open session allows anyone to come into the studio and explore all the possibilities that a recording studio and provide.
